Ronin Dojo Community College DX: The Digital Pirates of Dark Water Saga
For Tax Reasons' first mini saga featuring the Ronin Dojo Community College DX crew. Video games, revenge, FBI agents, giant robots- it's got everything but a mecha kitchen sink.
The very first and most famous For Tax Reasons cartoon. Released as a holiday short in November of 2007, it features three nerds turning a nativity scene into a LARP battle.
This short introduced the world to Ronin Dojo Community College DX crew, and many confused parents to the concept of Live Action Role Playing.
It was followed up with a pair of video responses from the characters sounding off on the innaccuracies of the short.
A series of shorts centered around the 2008 Presidential Election, parodying the classic public service announcements from the 1980's G.I. Joe cartoon.
My thesis short from New York University. A boy falls in love at a ska show, and manages to annoy his friends during the entire car ride home.
Winner of Best College Student Animation at the 2006 Nashville Film Festival, and featured in the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival's Animated New York screening.
Here are a few randoms. Fidelity & Consequence, my first and only actual "film". Shot my junior year at NYU, starring the incomparable Adam Carpenter & Zack Steel.
