Stop Censorship… for reals

January 18th, 2012 by Ben

As corny as it sounds, being able to share my cartoons with the world on Youtube brought me a lot of opportunities. If SOPA and PIPA are passed, it’s very possible that I, and many other filmmakers, will not have access to sites like Youtube, nor the benefit of building an audience by being linked through social networking sites, or sites like Cartoon Brew and Boing Boing. Please contact your Congressperson and tell them to vote NO on SOPA and PIPA.

Here’s a video that explains everything better than I can.

    Hello Benlevin,
On a similar note,, I find it not only hard to believe that Yahoo would stop it’s comment section, I find it as a form of censorship on their part. Yes, they have the right to stop that section, but to me, it was a place where real people came together and hashed things out. I often found myself hunting to prove or disprove others opinions and in doing so LEARNED. I need real input from real people not spoon fed corporate news on so many important issues. Is there such a place?
    Thanks
